On 7 January 1997 Radio Regina Bratislava, a new regional station of Slovak Radio, starts broadcasting on 792 kHz.

On 6 September 2004 Slovak Radio switches off 1071 kHz via Presov.

On 20 January 2008 Slovak Radio ceases broadcasting via 567, 621, 864, 900, 927, and 1035 kHz and only uses 702, 1017, and 1098 kHz for Radio Patria only.
