"Sharing the stories of Pacific Radio"

Cowtown Boys and KELW Radio

The first in our new series of 'Long Lost Radio Images' features the Cowtown Boys, Long Horns, Hill Billies and KELW Radio Station. This mixed crowd are gathered around the KELW mike in about 1930.

You can read the history of this Burbank CA station and also enjoy the sounds of Pedro Gonzalez and Los Madrugadores.

KELW was established by Earl L White, Magnolia Park land developer in 1927.
